Here’s another EASY and FUN project to try with your Peas… or someone else’s if you don’t have any around.

I do recommend having a vacuum on hand for followup-cleanup.  Or if the weather is nice, do it outside.  But don’t let this tip put you off!

This project is SO EASY!  And it occupied an entire morning with creativity and fun at our house (well, our ‘shed’).

(And in our case ended with a colossal fit that had us all in stitches.  Perhaps this wasn’t the most appropriate approach to dealing with an all out tantrum but… well… watch for the pictures at the end of the post, and tell me what you would have done…)

Moon Dough (the recipe)

2 boxes Corn Starch (300 grams or 10.5 oz)

1 can Shaving Cream (get a cheap one)

Mix these together and you’ve got yourself a soft moldable material that is not easy to describe and thus coins the name “moon dough” — because we can explain just as much about the moon.

Aspen and Betsy start the fun by blending Moon Dough ingredients by hand in a big plastic tub.

Lloyd, Wyatt, Nalia and Faith join in the fun.
(You can see the powdery corn starch making its move across the table… and yep the floor too… remember my vacuum comment?…)

AND THEN THERE WAS NALIA….   Perfectly Pleasant to…

And YES we all stood around and watched and laughed (and took photos).  How could I resist!

What would you have done???
